As an administrator, I have the joy of walking the halls of the Alumni Hall STEAM facility and seeing young men’s lives being transformed by the opportunities offered them in this state-of-the art facility. More numerous and more complex experiments are being conducted in the chemistry and physics labs. The Yearbook staff is creating wonderful copy and graphics in the Makerspace, and this year, the Industrial Arts space is being utilized by our art teacher and Artist in Residence, Br. Jude Schmitt, in their co-instruction of students in woodworking. The building is buzzing with the sounds of young men collaborating and stretching their minds to new understandings of what is and opening them to the possibilities of what can be. My heart is grateful to those generous donors who made this transformation of Alumni Hall possible for our students.

The downstairs maker's space in Alumni Hall is a room of creative possibilities. I appreciate the opportunity to expand my creative skills and familiarize myself with the future of digital art.
