OUR MONASTIC TAILOR: Brother José Rios

OUR MONASTIC TAILOR: St. Benedict devoted chapter 55 of his Rule to the clothing of the monk. Many monasteries today have to outsource their tailor work, but we are blessed that Br. José has continued the ancient tradition of the monastic tailor. Through a lot of hard work, Brother's tailor shop has now been moved into the southeast corner of the monastery on the third floor which allows some wonderful natural light. Brother agreed to let us snap a few photos of himself at work in the new location. He especially thanks all those that were able to donate the funds for the new tailor shop and to the maintenance crew that renovated the space and moved the equipment. We are blessed by Br. José, and for that we monks chant: UIOGD!
